Coronavirus: UAE reports 210 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths

Latest infections identified after an additional 65,186 tests are carried out

The UAE reported 210 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, bringing its total to 64,312.

A further 123 patients were given the all-clear as the recovery tally climbed to 57,694.

The death toll in the Emirates now stands at 364 after three more patients died.

At least 6,254 people are currently battling Covid-19 in the UAE.

Sunday's infections were identified after an additional 65,186 coronavirus tests were carried out.

The UAE has conducted almost 6 million Covid-19 tests since the outbreak. The country has a recovery rate of almost 90 per cent.

The new figures came as private schools in Abu Dhabi revealed their plans for a staggered return of pupils to classrooms.

Most pupils aged between four and 11 will return to in-person lessons on August 30.

Classes will resume for those in kindergarten to Grade 5 under the US system, and for FS2 (Reception) to Year 6 under the British one.

Youngsters in all other years will start face-to-face lessons four weeks later.

This move will help schools prepare for the return of all pupils and monitor how younger ones adapt to the safety measures introduced to slow the spread of Covid-19.

To mark Bodytree’s 10th anniversary, the coming season will be filled with celebratory activities:

  • September 21 Anyone interested in becoming a certified yoga instructor can sign up for a 250-hour course in Yoga Teacher Training with Jacquelene Sadek. It begins on September 21 and will take place over the course of six weekends.
  • October 18 to 21 International yoga instructor, Yogi Nora, will be visiting Bodytree and offering classes.
  • October 26 to November 4 International pilates instructor Courtney Miller will be on hand at the studio, offering classes.
  • November 9 Bodytree is hosting a party to celebrate turning 10, and everyone is invited. Expect a day full of free classes on the grounds of the studio.
  • December 11 Yogeswari, an advanced certified Jivamukti teacher, will be visiting the studio.
  • February 2, 2018 Bodytree will host its 4th annual yoga market.
