Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited Bahrain on Thursday for talks with King Hamad.
Sheikh Mohamed was welcomed by a guard of honour as he was greeted by the Bahraini king on his arrival at the neighbouring Gulf nation.
The two leaders later held talks at Al Sakhir Palace.
They discussed the deep ties between the two nations and agreed on their support for joint Gulf action. They also exchanged Ramadan greetings.
"I was pleased to meet with my brother, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in Bahrain," said Sheikh Mohamed, in comments reported by state news agency Wam.
"We reaffirmed the strong ties between our countries and discussed our shared interests to advance the security, stability and development of the Gulf along with our regional and international partners."
They also highlighted the importance of further developing trade and investment co-operation as well as working together on opportunities in technology, science, energy, renewable energy, environment, health and education.
Sheikh Mohamed attended an iftar banquet hosted by the king where a poem was recited by Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad, Bahrain's National Security Adviser and Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs.
Also in attendance were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan, the UAE ambassador to Bahrain, and Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President.
Dr Gargash, in a post on social media, said both countries have a deep and historic relationship with "a common destiny and one vision" for the good of the Gulf and Arab countries and people.
Sheikh Mohamed and King Hamad, meanwhile, meet regularly as part of the warm friendship between their countries.
In March, The two met at the Bahraini monarch's residence in Abu Dhabi to review bilateral relations.

The Emirates Charity Portal
You can donate to several registered charities through a “donation catalogue”. The use of the donation is quite specific, such as buying a fan for a poor family in Niger for Dh130.
The General Authority of Islamic Affairs & Endowments
The site has an e-donation service accepting debit card, credit card or e-Dirham, an electronic payment tool developed by the Ministry of Finance and First Abu Dhabi Bank.
Al Noor Special Needs Centre
You can donate online or order Smiles n’ Stuff products handcrafted by Al Noor students. The centre publishes a wish list of extras needed, starting at Dh500.
Beit Al Khair Society
Beit Al Khair Society has the motto “From – and to – the UAE,” with donations going towards the neediest in the country. Its website has a list of physical donation sites, but people can also contribute money by SMS, bank transfer and through the hotline 800-22554.
Dar Al Ber Society
Dar Al Ber Society, which has charity projects in 39 countries, accept cash payments, money transfers or SMS donations. Its donation hotline is 800-79.
Dubai Cares
Dubai Cares provides several options for individuals and companies to donate, including online, through banks, at retail outlets, via phone and by purchasing Dubai Cares branded merchandise. It is currently running a campaign called Bookings 2030, which allows people to help change the future of six underprivileged children and young people.
Emirates Airline Foundation
Those who travel on Emirates have undoubtedly seen the little donation envelopes in the seat pockets. But the foundation also accepts donations online and in the form of Skywards Miles. Donated miles are used to sponsor travel for doctors, surgeons, engineers and other professionals volunteering on humanitarian missions around the world.
Emirates Red Crescent
On the Emirates Red Crescent website you can choose between 35 different purposes for your donation, such as providing food for fasters, supporting debtors and contributing to a refugee women fund. It also has a list of bank accounts for each donation type.
Gulf for Good
Gulf for Good raises funds for partner charity projects through challenges, like climbing Kilimanjaro and cycling through Thailand. Anti-semitic attacks
The annual report by the Community Security Trust, which advises the Jewish community on security , warned on Thursday that anti-Semitic incidents in Britain had reached a record high.
It found there had been 2,255 anti-Semitic incidents reported in 2021, a rise of 34 per cent from the previous year.
The report detailed the convictions of a number of people for anti-Semitic crimes, including one man who was jailed for setting up a neo-Nazi group which had encouraged “the eradication of Jewish people” and another who had posted anti-Semitic homemade videos on social media.

Some of French groups are threatening Friday to continue their journey to Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the European Union, and to meet up with drivers from other countries on Monday.
Belgian authorities joined French police in banning the threatened blockade. A similar lorry cavalcade was planned for Friday in Vienna but cancelled after authorities prohibited it.
How to come clean about financial infidelity

- Work on a plan to resolve the problem together: If there is a lot of debt, for example, create a budget and financial plan together and ensure your partner is fully informed, involved and supported.

Types of fraud
Phishing: Fraudsters send an unsolicited email that appears to be from a financial institution or online retailer. The hoax email requests that you provide sensitive information, often by clicking on to a link leading to a fake website.
Smishing: The SMS equivalent of phishing. Fraudsters falsify the telephone number through “text spoofing,” so that it appears to be a genuine text from the bank.
Vishing: The telephone equivalent of phishing and smishing. Fraudsters may pose as bank staff, police or government officials. They may persuade the consumer to transfer money or divulge personal information.
SIM swap: Fraudsters duplicate the SIM of your mobile number without your knowledge or authorisation, allowing them to conduct financial transactions with your bank.
Identity theft: Someone illegally obtains your confidential information, through various ways, such as theft of your wallet, bank and utility bill statements, computer intrusion and social networks.
Prize scams: Fraudsters claiming to be authorised representatives from well-known organisations (such as Etisalat, du, Dubai Shopping Festival, Expo2020, Lulu Hypermarket etc) contact victims to tell them they have won a cash prize and request them to share confidential banking details to transfer the prize money.
