Police in Ras Al Khaimah have arrested four men on suspicion of possessing and selling drugs.
“The anti-narcotics department tracked down for drug traffickers after they were consuming the substance and intending to sell it across the country,” said Col Adnan Al Zaabi, director of the anti-narcotics department at Ras Al Khaimah Police.
Col Al Zaabi said police were alerted about the four suspects who attempted to avoid arrest by using a vehicle with a fake number plate.
Col Al Zaabi said the anti-narcotics department managed to identify the vehicle and arrest the four Emirati men.
“The four suspects were arrested in their vehicle and a quantity of crystal meth and tools used to inhale the drugs were found with them,” said Col Al Zaabi.
Four men were referred to Ras Al Khaimah public prosecution.

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
