Four young men have been arrested after video footage of an assault on another young resident was shared widely on social media, Dubai Police said.
The video shows four males aged between 16 and 20 beating up another male in Dubai. Police responded quickly after the video began circulating, arresting the four suspects within 24 hours.
The nationalities of the suspects were not disclosed by police.
A case has been registered and further investigation will be held by public prosecutors.
In a statement on Twitter, Dubai Police urged parents to pay extra attention to their children's movements.
They also encouraged residents to report antisocial behavior.
