A fire broke out in a residential building under construction in Sharjah on Sunday.
Firefighters from four of the emirate's Civil Defence centres were still tackling the blaze, in Al Qasimia, as of 8pm.
It is unclear how the fire began but photographs from the scene show the top of the building, and a crane, engulfed in flames.
It is not known if workers were on site at the time.
