SHARJAH // Sharjah Ladies Club’s Ebriez Fashion Exhibition will donate a portion of its proceeds to the Big Heart Campaign.
The campaign was launched in support of Syrian refugee children by Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah.
According to state news agency Wam, the exhibition, at the club’s Kunooz Ballroom, will be open until Saturday and will feature fashion accessories and Eid Al Fitr items for women and children.
The women-only exhibition also holds daily suhoor and draws for valuable prizes, as well as a children’s area in which there are a number of activities and games.
“Donating a portion of the proceeds to support the Big Heart Campaign is in line with the club’s support of humanitarian campaigns that aim to alleviate suffering of the less fortunate across the world, especially in Ramadan, the month of social and human solidarity and benevolent deeds,” said Khawla Al Serkal, director of Sharjah Ladies Club.
She said that all on items on display in the exhibition had been carefully selected to fit the spirit of the holy month and Eid Al Fitr.
Ms Serkal also said that the club had prepared a lineup of activities for the summer holidays for women and children.
