New images of impressive features at Expo have been revealed with just a few weeks to go until the event opens to the public.
Finishing touches are being added to the nearly 200 pavilions as millions of visitors are expected to descend on the emirate over the next six months.
Last week, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, was given a tour of the Expo site, including the Garden in the Sky.
Also on the tour was the Expo 2020 Water Feature, located between Jubilee Park and Al Wasl Plaza.
Garden in the Sky
Situated in the Jubilee Park, the Garden in the Sky sits 55 metres above ground, serving as an observation tower as well as an area of nature. There are ten yellow flame trees planted on the upper floor which are accessible via rotating cabins from the ground floor or basement.
The edifice was designed by London-based Asif Khan, who can also take credit for Expo's three entry portals, which use strands of ultra-lightweight carbon-fibre composite, and Expo's public realm.
Jubilee park is where visitors will also find food outlets, art installations, a stage, the World Souq, and a playground.
Expo 2020 Water Feature
Billed as a 'must-see' landmark, it features sheets of water cascading down vertical walls 13 metres high.
During the day, the water appears to fall into a circle of fire, however in keeping with the event's sustainability theme, the effect is created with pure hydrogen.
At night visitors can expect a gravity defying feat as the water appears to flow backwards up the walls.
The display is set against a musical backdrop, written by award-winning composer Ramin Djawadi, and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra. Mr Djawadi is also renowned for his work on the theme music for HBO series Game of Thrones.
The water feature was created by California-based WET Design, who are also the team behind the dancing fountains at Burj Khalifa.

What is Reform?
Reform is a right-wing, populist party led by Nigel Farage, a former MEP who won a seat in the House of Commons last year at his eighth attempt and a prominent figure in the campaign for the UK to leave the European Union.
It was founded in 2018 and originally called the Brexit Party.
Many of its members previously belonged to UKIP or the mainstream Conservatives.
After Brexit took place, the party focused on the reformation of British democracy.
Former Tory deputy chairman Lee Anderson became its first MP after defecting in March 2024.
The party gained support from Elon Musk, and had hoped the tech billionaire would make a £100m donation. However, Mr Musk changed his mind and called for Mr Farage to step down as leader in a row involving the US tycoon's support for far-right figurehead Tommy Robinson who is in prison for contempt of court.
