Europeans in race for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix tickets

Tickets for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit went on sale last week with demand strongest from the UAE and Europe, organisers of the November 11-13 event said yesterday.

Richard Cregan, the chief executive of Yas Marina Circuit, said ticket sales are already showing promise."Ticket prices have been held at the same level as last year and we are very encouraged by the initial response," he said.

Last year, the 50,000-capacity grandstands sold out just days before the race that crowned Sebastian Vettel world champion.
