UAE weather: Rain in forecast for Saturday

Temperatures in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will reach into the lower 30s on Saturday as rain threatens the day.

In Dubai the forecast is for 31°C, while Abu Dhabi should reach 30°C.

The best temperatures will be in the interior where it will hit 33°C.

Along the coast and islands the maximum is likely to be 31°C and the mountains are expected to hit 28°C.

The National Centre of Meteorology said Saturday will be cloudy over scattered areas, especially over the coasts, islands and northern areas, with associated rainfall and a drop in temperatures.

There will be moderate to fresh winds, gusting strong at times and causing blowing dust and sand.

The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate, becoming rough at times by in the Oman Sea.

Humidity along the coast is forecast to reach 80 per cent while the interior could be at 70 per cent and the mountains 50 per cent.
