The heat and humidity is set to rise over the next two days due to dusty, cloudy conditions that will persist across the UAE.
Visibility will be reduced to 1,000 metres in coastal and internal areas on Wednesday, according to the National Centre for Meteorology.
The temperatures will rise to the 40°C across the Emirates by afternoon due to the hazy conditions.
Temperatures will range from 30 to 47°C in the interior regions, 29 to 44°C along the coast and 27°C to 38°C in the mountains.
The maximum humidity would be 60 to 90 per cent across coastal, 50 to 80 per cent in interior regions and between 30 to 60 per cent in the mountains.
