UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi set for hot and hazy Thursday

Moderate winds could cause blowing dust at times

Weather conditions in Dubai on Thursday will be mostly clear and sunny with a moderate breeze.

Temperatures are due to peak at 40°C shortly after midday, accompanied by winds of up to 24kph.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of clear skies and light breezes.

Temperatures are predicted to be slightly hotter, reaching 41°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of about 16kph.

The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but predicted hazy skies at times.

Moderate winds could pick up sand, it said.

Night time temperatures could drop to about 32°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Friday night and the early hours of Saturday morning.
