Weather conditions in Dubai on Thursday will be mostly clear and sunny with a moderate breeze.
Temperatures are due to peak at 40°C shortly after midday, accompanied by gentle winds of up to 24kph.
The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of clear skies and light breezes.
Temperatures are predicted to be slightly cooler, reaching 39°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 19kph.
The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but said winds could pick up dust at times during the day.
Some light clouds could form in eastern areas towards the afternoon, it said.
Night time temperatures could drop to around 35°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Thursday night and the early hours of Friday morning.
