UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi set for hot and dusty Friday

Weather conditions in Dubai on Friday will be dusty and hot with moderate winds.

Temperatures are due to peak at 39°C shortly after midday, accompanied by winds of up to 21kph.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of dusty skies and moderate breezes.

Temperatures are also predicted to reach 39°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 18kph.

The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general but warned winds could pick up sand and dust, reducing visibility at times.

Night time temperatures could drop to around 30°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Friday night and the early hours of Saturday morning.
