Temperatures are due to peak at 39°C shortly after midday, accompanied by winds of up to 23kph.
The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of clear skies and dusty winds breezes.
Temperatures are predicted to be slightly hotter, reaching 40°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 19kph.
The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but said winds could cause blowing dust and sand at times.
Night time temperatures could drop to around 35°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Friday night and the early hours of Saturday morning.
