High winds with rain and poor visibility have been forecast across the country for the next two days.
Abu Dhabi and Dubai were hit by a sudden rainstorm on Sunday, cancelling music concerts and forcing a cricket international to be abandoned. Sand from construction sites and debris swept through the streets.
Windy conditions, particularly over coastal and northern areas, are expected to continue, reducing visibility and causing a further drop in temperatures, according to the National Centre of Meteorology. Wind speeds are forecast to reach 45 kilometres per hour.

An alert to be aware of severe weather was issued for the Northern Emirates while rough seas were forecast in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
The Dubai Police issued a warning to motorists “to drive with extreme caution during the severe weather”.
Sand and debris whipped across the capital on Sunday night in a rainstorm that prompted the Abu Dhabi Police to urge residents to remain indoors.
A concert by British pop star Dua Lipa that was part of the first anniversary celebrations of Louvre Abu Dhabi was cancelled. The museum asked visitors to remain inside the galleries and exhibition spaces for their own safety.
In Dubai, Pakistan and New Zealand's one day international cricket match was abandoned.
Temperatures hit a peak of 34°C in Abu Dhabi, 31°C in Ras Al Khaimah, 30°C in Fujairah and 32°C in Dubai and Sharjah.
The lowest temperature in the country recorded on Sunday morning was 14.7°C in Jebel Jais.
