A fire broke out in a Dubai Duty Free warehouse on Monday.
Dubai Civil Defence was alerted around 2pm and firefighters from Al Rashidiya centre were quickly sent to the accident site in the Umm Ramool area.
The minor blaze was controlled in 14 minutes, said officials.
It is not clear what products were stored in the gutted warehouse.
No injuries were reported and cooling operations are nearly over.
Officials of Dubai Duty Free said all employees were evacuated safely.
“Dubai Civil Defence were quickly on scene and extinguished the fire within minutes,” said a Dubai Duty Free spokesman.
“There were no injuries during the incident and we thank the emergency services for their swift action.”
