The Eid Al Fitr holiday will be hot and humid, with a possibility of early morning mist at the weekend, according to forecasters.
Tuesday will be fair in general and “rather hot” during the daytime, said the National Centre of Meteorology.
Temperatures will reach a high of 37°C on the coast and up to 41°C inland. It will be sticky in the evening and overnight, with humidity reaching up to 85 per cent on the coast and 80 per cent inland.
Winds will be light to moderate and conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will be calm.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny with scattered clouds in the east. Temperatures will climb to 38°C in Abu Dhabi and 37°C in Dubai.
Winds will be gusty at times, which could blow dust during the day. Conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will be calm.
On Thursday it will be sunny and hot, reaching 40°C in Abu Dhabi and 39°C in Dubai. Conditions will again be calm in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
On Friday, it will be hot, with temperatures reaching the high 30s in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It could be cloudy in the east in the morning. Winds could be gusty at times.
Humidity will rise overnight, which could create a misty start to Saturday on the coast. Temperatures will reach the high 30s in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Winds will pick up at times, blowing dust. But both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will be calm. It will become sticky again overnight due to rising humidity.
