The country woke to a wet and windy start on Sunday with police warning drivers to take care on the roads.
Rain fell along the coast stretching from Abu Dhabi city to Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
It will rain for most of the day. But the showers will mainly be light in Abu Dhabi city, with the heaviest rain confined to Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
Weather charts show it may rain early on Monday morning before becoming dry and sunny later on.
Abu Dhabi Police called on drivers to "exercise caution due to the rainy weather and to follow the changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards".
It will also be dusty at times, as winds, which will be strong at times, kick up dust and sand.
Temperatures will reach 27°C inland and 25°C on the coast and islands.
Conditions will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the Oman Sea.
After a rainy start in Abu Dhabi, Monday will be drier across the UAE.
It has been an exceptionally wet start to 2022, with more than 18 months' worth of rain falling in just a few days earlier in the month.

HIV on the rise in the region
A 2019 United Nations special analysis on Aids reveals 37 per cent of new HIV infections in the Mena region are from people injecting drugs.
New HIV infections have also risen by 29 per cent in western Europe and Asia, and by 7 per cent in Latin America, but declined elsewhere.
Egypt has shown the highest increase in recorded cases of HIV since 2010, up by 196 per cent.
Access to HIV testing, treatment and care in the region is well below the global average.
Few statistics have been published on the number of cases in the UAE, although a UNAIDS report said 1.5 per cent of the prison population has the virus.
