DUBAI // The two Jumeirah English Speaking Schools in the emirate achieved “outstanding” ratings this year, which their leaders attributed to a culture of working with all stakeholders.
Director Rob Stokoe said he was delighted that both schools, in Arabian Ranches and off Al Wasl Road, were awarded the rankings.
“We are, of course, delighted that the latest round of inspections have resulted in our schools being given the highest possible ranking,” Mr Stokoe said.
“This success comes from collaboration between everyone involved with the schools, be they the staff, parents, pupils or governors.”
A determination to constantly improve was crucial to raising standards, he said. “Although we do our own internal reviews and checks, it’s great to know that we are on the right track from external inspectors.
“We are willing to learn and our focus is to improve year on year, and that’s why we are doing so well, but the key thing is to focus on the students and implement things that help them achieve their potential.”
The British curriculum schools will focus on better teaching of Arabic for native speakers and Islamic studies.
“That is something we are all determined to improve on,” Mr Stokoe said.

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
