Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Sunday visited the Abu Dhabi Natiinal Oil Company headquarters.
Their Highnesses expressed their pride in those in the UAE who adopted the values of leadership, excellence and innovation to promote the country's international competitiveness.
They also stressed the importance of maintaining economic diversity based on the UAE's strengths and experiences, especially in essential sectors such as energy.
Adopting an academic approach and predicting the future to guarantee growth and prosperity and strengthen the nation's position among the world's advanced countries is crucial, they both said.
At the beginning of the visit, His Highness and the sheikhs were briefed on ADNOC's vision of being one of the main drivers of development and prosperity in the UAE, through investing in human and natural resources.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed praised ADNOC's initiatives to widen its strategic partnerships and create joint investment opportunities to provide added value and promote the future growth of promising sectors.
Also in attendance were Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, President of the Department of Civil Aviation and chief executive and chairman of the Emirates Group and Chairman of Dubai World; and Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Chairman of Masdar and chief executive of Adnoc Group.
