Dubai Municipality vet services aids Romanian city with dog problem

DUBAI // Dubai Municipality’s veterinary services section has been helping a Romanian city deal with its dog-control issues.

According to state news agency Wam, a delegation from Dubai Municipality travelled to Brasov to highlight its efforts in effective management of dogs in Dubai.

Their programme includes education and training, dog health care, mandatory identification and registration and reproduction control, among others.

The civic body has implemented measures to manage the dog population abiding by the International Companion Animal Management Coalition norms.

Awareness drives have resulted in higher dog vaccinations and registrations, the municipality said.
