Dubai Miracle Garden reopens to visitors

A record-breaking Emirates A380 floral display, an 18-metre floral structure of Mickey Mouse and more than 150 million flowers, the world's largest flower garden has reopened.

Dubai Miracle Garden welcomed visitors again on Sunday with strict safety measures in place to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Staff will conduct thermal screening and enforce social distancing, while sanitisation dispensers are available across the garden.

The quirky attraction in Dubailand closed in March because of the pandemic.

Abdel Rahhal, co-founder of Dubai Miracle Garden, said the safety of staff and guests was paramount.

“The venue will monitor the temperature of visitors entering the garden and hand sanitisers will be available across all areas,” said Mr Rahhal.

“Social distancing rules will also be strictly implemented across the park. The park’s team has been trained to fully carry out health, safety and security measures.”

The garden will open daily from 9am to 9pm on weekdays and from 9am to 11pm on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.

Admission costs Dh55 for adults and Dh40 for children aged 12 and below. Children below the age of three and people of determination can go in for free.

The garden is the latest attraction to reopen across the UAE. Abu Dhabi on Sunday announced four cultural centres - Manarat Al Saadiyat, Berklee Abu Dhabi; Bait Al Oud; and Al Ain's Al Qattara Arts Centre will reopen from November 8.
