DUBAI // The parents of a teen believed to have fallen to his death from the 11th floor of an apartment block have again appealed to the public for information.
Harry Harling, 15, was last seen alive at midnight on March 23. His body was found outside Newbridge Hill 1 in Motor City at 9.30 the next morning.
The boy had been at a party at which there was "light drinking", Dubai Police says. At the family's request they have not given details of the inquiry into his death.
"We fully respect and support the Dubai authorities' ongoing investigation and current actions being undertaken into Harry's death, and do not wish to undermine it in any way," Harry's parents, Nicolus and Beverley, said yesterday.
"Therefore no comment will be given at this stage concerning case details.
"This is just an appeal as parents for any information, however small, concerning the night of March 23, when Harry visited the Motor City area and a building called Newbridge Hill 2."
Harry, a Year 11 pupil at Jumeirah College, had left the party at midnight and told a friend he was taking a taxi home.
He did not use a taxi and was found dead by a security guard nine and a half hours later.
The family is appealing for information from residents in Newbridge Hill and Foxhills who may have seen the teenager between midnight and 9.30am on March 24.
"Even confirmation that Harry was not lying at the foot of the building at a particular time would be helpful," the family said.
"This could narrow the timeline of Harry's actual fall and is obviously very important. We cannot understand why no one had seen or heard from Harry for over nine and half hours."
