DUBAI // A video showing a 13-year-old being molested by four schoolmates spread across his school, a court heard today.
A teacher found a crowd of students viewing the clip - in which the child is forced to perform a sex act four other boys, aged between 13 and 15 - and alerted the school's administration.
"In the video he was sad and obviously forced to do what he was doing," the teacher told the Juvenile Court, adding that the boy was a "polite" pupil who gained good grades.
The clip spread through the school during April of last year, but the court heard this was not the first time the child had been abused by his schoolmates.
The boy told prosecutors that in December, 2011, two older boys at the school, a 15 and 16-year-old, accosted him at the school's bus stop before dragging him off and taking turns to rape him.
"I was screaming and crying and begging them to stop, but instead they beat me," said the boy.
He said the following month he was cornered by four other pupils on-board an empty school bus and forced to perform the sex act on each of them while they filmed.
"They took me to the last seat in the bus and would beat me, one of them held a small knife and cut me every time I cried or refused to pleasure him," said the boy.
He said he tried to run away but that the boys would chase him and drag him back.
Two boys were charged with rape, four with molestation. Each of them denied the charges.
During police interrogations the six schoolmates claimed they acted with the boy's consent.
The next hearing was scheduled for January 29.
