Three businesses in Ajman were shut for flouting Covid-19 safety rules.
The establishments, two restaurants and a barbershop, allowed staff to carry out duties without wearing masks, gloves and hair caps.
They also failed to commit to regular PCR testing as required.
The closures were ordered by Ajman's Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Team following inspections.
All businesses in the emirate were urged to adhere to safety measures.
Inspections will continue to ensure traders are complying with measures in place to control the spread of Covid-19.
In February, restaurants and cafes were ordered to close by midnight and reduce their capacity to 50 per cent.
Revised health and safety protocols, announced on March 15, allowed businesses to work until 1am.
Other safety regulations remained unchanged, including reduced capacity and social distancing.
Only four people are allowed to be seated at a table together and there must be two metres between tables.
