DUBAI // A murder suspect wanted by authorities in India bribed a police officer in Dubai with a luxury car in return for details of the investigation, a court heard today. JS, 42, who faces extradition to India in relation to the murder, gave the officer, who was working with Interpol and was identified as YS, 27, a Range Rover. JS is charged with bribing a public official. YS is charged with accepting a bribe. YS was offered the vehicle in return for information regarding developments of the murder investigation, Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance was told. The case was adjourned until the end of the month. amustafa@thenational.ae
