DUBAi // Three men forged a document from the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities to receive charity, the Dubai Criminal Court heard today.

Prosecutors said HA, 52, a Jordanian workers' supervisor, forged the document and submitted it to a philanthropist who is a partner in a private company, and asked for help.

Two other men, AD, 51, from Jordan and GQ, a 51-year-old Syrian salesman, helped HA forge the document, according to the prosecution.

The men denied the charges and the case was adjourned to July 4.
