NCEMA's Covid-19 briefing on Tuesday continued to urge residents to take precautionary measures and avoid social gatherings, and reiterated that food should not be exchanged among friends and neighbours.
It was also advised to continue wearing masks and implement physical distancing while sitting with the elderly and people with chronic illnesses.
Dr Al Dhaheri stressed the importance of taking the vaccine, stating it is the responsibility of the individual to protect the community.
"The number of tests have reached 54 million and this is an achievement for the UAE. The UAE works day after day affirming that it is a global example in successfully managing this crisis," he said.
The UAE recorded 1,699 Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing its total to 527,266.
The number of new cases is the lowest since January 3, when 1,501 were reported.
Another 1,686 people beat the virus, taking the recovery tally to 507,706.
The death toll now stands at 1,598, following two more fatalities during the 24-hour reporting period.
Authorities have deployed a widespread testing regimen, strict safety measures and one of the world's fastest vaccination drives to curb the pandemic.
Because of this, cases have dropped significantly after reaching close to 4,000 a day in January.
The UAE has administered 10.6 million vaccine doses – which represents a rate of 107.85 doses per 100 people.
Authorities called on the public to ensure they are vaccinated to support the country's fight against the virus.
Elsewhere, a fourth UAE aircraft loaded with Covid-19 vaccines has arrived in Syria's capital Damascus, state news agency Wam reported.
The shipment was dispatched by the Emirates Red Crescent, in co-ordination with the Syrian Red Crescent Association, to assist the country's health sector in curbing the pandemic.
It also aims to protect frontline workers in Syria, along with people suffering from chronic diseases and those displaced in camps.
Previous shipments of the vaccine were sent to the country before Ramadan.
Syria has been suffering from more than 10 years of conflict and is also dealing with the pandemic.
The aid is part of the UAE's global response to the coronavirus, which has seen the country send aid shipments to scores of countries around the world.

Conflict, drought, famine
Estimates of the number of deaths caused by the famine range from 400,000 to 1 million, according to a document prepared for the UK House of Lords in 2024.
It has been claimed that the policies of the Ethiopian government, which took control after deposing Emperor Haile Selassie in a military-led revolution in 1974, contributed to the scale of the famine.
Dr Miriam Bradley, senior lecturer in humanitarian studies at the University of Manchester, has argued that, by the early 1980s, “several government policies combined to cause, rather than prevent, a famine which lasted from 1983 to 1985. UK's plans to cut net migration
Under the UK government’s proposals, migrants will have to spend 10 years in the UK before being able to apply for citizenship.
Skilled worker visas will require a university degree, and there will be tighter restrictions on recruitment for jobs with skills shortages.
But what are described as "high-contributing" individuals such as doctors and nurses could be fast-tracked through the system.
Language requirements will be increased for all immigration routes to ensure a higher level of English.
Rules will also be laid out for adult dependants, meaning they will have to demonstrate a basic understanding of the language.
The plans also call for stricter tests for colleges and universities offering places to foreign students and a reduction in the time graduates can remain in the UK after their studies from two years to 18 months.
