The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) sent a shipment of Covid-19 vaccine doses and aid to Syria.
It will assist frontline medical workers, elderly people and those with chronic diseases, as well as displaced people in refugee camps, Wam reported on Thursday.
The shipment underlines the UAE's commitment to helping countries most in need and comes before Ramadan.
Syria has been suffering from more than ten years of conflict and is also dealing with the pandemic.
Also on Thursday, the UAE sent an aid plane with 67 tonnes of food to Gambia as the African country tackles Covid-19.
The UAE previously sent an aid plane containing five tonnes of medical supplies to the country last year to help curb the pandemic.
This aid has helped about 5,000 healthcare workers in their efforts to contain the virus.
Sultan Al Harbi, the UAE's non-resident ambassador to Gambia, said the UAE was committed to giving humanitarian assistance to all African countries.
The two shipments are the latest in a series of aid flights undertaken by the UAE.
On Wednesday, the ERC said it would send four plane loads of aid to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Somalia.
The East African country is suffering from a prolonged and severe drought.
Two aircraft have already landed and the remaining flights were to depart this week.
The UAE previously sent medical supplies to the country to bolster its efforts to curb the pandemic.

'Worse than a prison sentence'
Marie Byrne, a counsellor who volunteers at the UAE government's mental health crisis helpline, said the ordeal the crew had been through would take time to overcome.
“It was worse than a prison sentence, where at least someone can deal with a set amount of time incarcerated," she said.
“They were living in perpetual mystery as to how their futures would pan out, and what that would be.
“Because of coronavirus, the world is very different now to the one they left, that will also have an impact.
“It will not fully register until they are on dry land. Some have not seen their young children grow up while others will have to rebuild relationships.
“It will be a challenge mentally, and to find other work to support their families as they have been out of circulation for so long. Hopefully they will get the care they need when they get home.”

What is THAAD?
It is considered to be the US's most superior missile defence system.
Production:
It was created in 2008.
Speed:
THAAD missiles can travel at over Mach 8, so fast that it is hypersonic.
Abilities:
THAAD is designed to take out ballistic missiles as they are on their downward trajectory towards their target, otherwise known as the "terminal phase".

To protect high-value strategic sites, such as airfields or population centres.
