Match tickets for the Fifa Under 17 World Cup will still be handed out for free despite problems with the event’s website, organisers confirmed today.
Visitors can claim tickets online by selecting the game and pressing the ‘buy now’ button. This will be sufficient to book the desired seats. There is no need to enter payment information.
The website is currently being updated to prevent further confusion, a representative of the organisers said.
Tickets are also available at Hallmark stores in Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, Al Jimi Mall in Al Ain, Manar Mall in Ras Al Khaimah, City Centre Mall in Fujairah, Sahara Mall in Sharjah and Dubai Mall. Tickets are also available at the official Fifa U17 World Cup Fan Zone on Abu Dhabi Corniche’s East Plaza from Thursday until November 8.
