This winter’s weather has given a special treat to photographers in the UAE – the regular presence of clouds in our normally solid blue sky. It’s easy to forget what a difference it makes to have a texture in the sky, changing the horizons behind your subjects. While on assignment in Al Ain, staff photographer Antonie Robertson created this black and white study in the contrast between architecture and nature, with the peaks of Sheikh Khalifa International Stadium against the wisps of cloud in the sky.
