Part of the revenues from this year's Abu Dhabi Festival will be donated to the Brave Heart Fund in Lebanon and the UN's World Food Programme. The Brave Heart Fund provides support for children with congenital heart disease.
The donation will pay for heart surgery for 12 patients, according to Hoda Al Khamis Kanoo, founder of the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation.
The World Food Programme aims to provide food to more than 200,000 children in seven Arab countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
