Abu Dhabi Municipality to conduct beach safety campaign

ABU DHABI // Abu Dhabi City Municipality is inviting residents to take part in a safety campaign to be held at the Corniche and Al Bateen Beach next week .

Beginning on August 23 at Al Bateen Beach, the municipality said that the three-day campaign “is part of a summer-long campaign intended to showcase the importance of responding to the requirements of health and safety at beaches, and implementing the standards of the Environment, Health and Safety Division at the Abu Dhabi City Municipality as regards the provision of necessary protection at all areas”.

Free medical check-ups will also be conducted to the public and beach goers, as well as basic first aid training on drowning and prevention of sunburns and dehydration.

The campaign will also include lessons on swimming safely.

Milestones on the road to union
