Giant screens at Abu Dhabi Airport could soon display messages warning visitors to the emirate against bad habits such as dropping cigarette butts and chewing gum on the roads as well as spitting on the streets.
The move would form part of an ongoing campaign by Abu Dhabi Municipality to educate the community on the importance of cleanliness in streets and neighbourhoods.
During the campaign, public hygiene awareness leaflets in Arabic, English, Urdu and Bengali languages have been distributed among arriving passengers while completing their entry procedures to the UAE.
