The 11-year-old Swiss International School Dubai pupil donated her locks to The Little Princess Trust, a UK-based charity that provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their hair to cancer
Aurelia was diagnosed with Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), a rare and life-threatening form of cancer, at four months old
When she was five months old, Aurelia was given a stem cell transplant to save her life
For years, Aurelia has dedicated her time to raising awareness of the disease and raising money for children with cancer
She also raised Dh11,500 for the Al Jalila Foundation in the UAE, a charity dedicated to ensuring those unable to afford healthcare are able to access medical treatment
Aurelia said she one day hopes to launch a stem cell database in the UAE to help save lives
She said donating hair to children with cancer will help them regain their confidence
