Zack Taumafai's family have received messages of condolences from almost 150 boxing federations around the world.
Zack Taumafai was described by his daughter as 'a pretty stubborn guy who didn't like hospitals'. He dedicated much of his adult life to caching martial arts.
On December 11 there will be a tribute event for Zack Taumafai at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Business Bay, Dubai.
Zack Taumafai's daughter Tee said her father “loved teaching the kids how to box, it is what gave him most satisfaction'.
Tee Taumafai, 33, Taumafai's daughter, said: 'The support from the boxing community here has been overwhelming, so many people knew him and loved him and they have all offered their love and help. It shows the kind of man he was.'
