UAE leaders attended the swearing-in ceremony of the country's new-look Cabinet on Wednesday.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, welcomed the team in charge of leading the Emirates to even greater successes in the years to come.
The Ruler of Dubai unveiled a Cabinet featuring several new ministers after a reshuffle on Saturday, following consultation with the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince.
"I joined my brother Mohammed bin Rashid to witness the swearing in of the new UAE government," said Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed wrote on Twitter.
"Looking ahead to the next 50 years, we are well equipped to accelerate our pace of development, which will further strengthen our economy and our nation’s standing in the world."
Cabinet changes
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance
- Mohamed Al Hussaini was made Minister of State for Financial Affairs. He succeeds the long-serving Obaid Al Tayer. Sheikh Mohammed gave his “thanks and appreciation to brother Obaid for his service and dedication".
- Abdullah Al Nuaimi was named Minister of Justice. Departing minister Sultan Al Badi was thanked for his service and dedication.
Dr Abdulrahman Al Awar was named Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation. Outgoing minister Nasser Al Hamli was thanked for his service.
- Mariam Al Mheiri was made Minister of Climate Change and Environment. Ms Al Mheiri, who was Minister of State for Food Security, continues that responsibility in her new role.
- Abdullah Al Ketbi was made Minister of Federal Supreme Council Affairs.

What is Reform?
Reform is a right-wing, populist party led by Nigel Farage, a former MEP who won a seat in the House of Commons last year at his eighth attempt and a prominent figure in the campaign for the UK to leave the European Union.
It was founded in 2018 and originally called the Brexit Party.

Microsoft’s ‘hacker-in-chief’ David Weston, creator of the tech company’s Windows Red Team, advises simple steps to help people avoid falling victim to cyber fraud:
1. Always get the latest operating system on your smartphone or desktop, as it will have the latest innovations. An outdated OS can erode away all investments made in securing your device or system.
2. After installing the latest OS version, keep it patched; this means repairing system vulnerabilities which are discovered after the infrastructure components are released in the market. The vast majority of attacks are based on out of date components – there are missing patches.
3. Multi-factor authentication is required. Move away from passwords as fast as possible, particularly for anything financial. Cybercriminals are targeting money through compromising the users’ identity – his username and password. So, get on the next level of security using fingertips or facial recognition.
4. Move your personal as well as professional data to the cloud, which has advanced threat detection mechanisms and analytics to spot any attempt. Even if you are hit by some ransomware, the chances of restoring the stolen data are higher because everything is backed up.
5. Make the right hardware selection and always refresh it. We are in a time where a number of security improvement processes are reliant on new processors and chip sets that come with embedded security features. Buy a new personal computer with a trusted computing module that has fingerprint or biometric cameras as additional measures of protection.

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
