Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi Hub has extended its season until May 15, and is open throughout Ramadan for the very first time.

For the holy month, several of the most popular activities at Hatta Wadi Hub have been discounted, with lower rates on everything from archery and zip-lining, to trampolining and horse riding.

Hatta Drop-In, a water jump park, with a crazy jump, crazy slide, drop-in donuts and drop-in tracks remains open this Ramadan

Activities start at only Dh10 during Ramadan for access to the Big Plunge, a huge trampoline geared toward adults who want to let their inner child bounce free.

The Net Walkway — a suspended canopy-covered footbridge — is also only Dh10 for each 15-minute visit, and is a great way to take in the rugged mountainous Hatta landscape.

Times for activities at Hatta Wadi Hub have also been adjusted for Ramadan, with most of them open in the morning from 8am until noon, then closing in the afternoon. The majority reopen in the late afternoon, with a few, such as archery and axe-throwing, staying open late until 9.30pm.

Other adrenalin-fuelled pursuits, including four-wheel off-road electric scooters, paragliding and mountain biking, are open throughout the day.

The Hatta Cannon catapult has closed for the month and will remain shut until the next season opens, which is typically around October each year.

HOW DO SIM CARD SCAMS WORK?

Sim swap frauds are a form of identity theft.

They involve criminals conning mobile phone operators into issuing them with replacement Sim cards, often by claiming their phone has been lost or stolen

They use the victim's personal details - obtained through criminal methods - to convince such companies of their identity.

The criminal can then access any online service that requires security codes to be sent to a user's mobile phone, such as banking services.
