Johann Chacko is a consultant and a doctoral researcher at the Department of Politics and International Studies at SOAS, University of London. Johann is also a research fellow at the Knology think tank in New York City. He has previously taught at universities in the UK, US and India. He has published commentary on South Asia in a number of newspapers since 2016.
