Video Journalist
Riyadh
Aamer Mohammed is an experienced journalist with over 25 years’ experience in commerce and journalism. Before joining The National, he worked since 2012 as a video journalist for leading international news agencies including Agency France Presse (AFPTV) and Thomson Reuters as a cameraman and producer covering military, political, commerce, social and sports stories across the Arabian Gulf. With a particular focus on Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, he has covered major regional events like Hajj and the Manama Dialogue security conference. Aamer also covered international stories such as the war in Iraq, the tension in the critical waterways of the Gulf and the war on ISIS. Aamer is multilingual, a skill he uses on assignments to get to the heart of a story.
