Waugh hits a century

The New South Wales captain Phil Waugh will make his 100th appearance for the Waratahs today as the Australian side look to maintain their winning start to the Super 14 season. The flanker will become the third player from the club to reach the landmark figure, but said he was more focused on the match with the Otago Highlanders than the milestone. "I've taken it one game at a time ever since I started so it's about playing against the Highlanders, winning the game and then when you come off you're icing up the bumps and bruises and getting ready for the Queensland Reds game," said Waugh.

"That's just the way that I've operated and how I think most guys operate."
