World No 1 golfer Jordan Spieth takes his place on The National Sport front page on Thursday, November 12 after confirming his attendance at the 2016 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.
Spieth, the PGA Tour player of the year after a season that saw him win two of the four major titles and top the FedEx Cup standings, was confirmed for the event along with fellow top golf stars Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler and Henrik Stenson.
