Novak Djokovic faced a surprise grilling from Caroline Wozniacki yesterday as the women's world No 1 news conference.
Djokovic was being interviewed by media at the All England Club ahead of the start of the grand slam event tomorrow when the fun-loving Wozniacki took a seat in the interview room and began to fire light-hearted questions at the Serb.
Both players have well-earned reputations as locker-room jokers and their "interview" lasted several minutes, to the amusement of the assembled reporters.
After introducing herself as a reporter for "the Monaco newspaper on Avenue Princess Grace", Wozniacki asked the Australian Open champion how he planned to bounce back after the end of his 43-match winning streak. Djokovic, beaten by Roger Federer in the French Open semi-finals, replied: "You know what? I will try to look up to some women players who have been so consistent with their wins, for example, like Caroline Wozniacki.
"I don't know if you've heard about her. She's been winning so much. She's become a role model for all of us ATP players. So I'm going to try to look at some of her matches and try to break this losing streak of one."
When Wozniacki asked who his favourite female player was, Djokovic revealed that the friends are neighbours in Monaco as he said: "I just said her name.
"She's actually my neighbour as well.
"From time to time we have coffee there on the beach and just relax and have lunch or have a jog. She's a really nice girl. She's a great entertainer."
Elsewhere, Marion Bartoli beat Petra Kvitova 6-1, 4-6, 7-5 to win the Aegon International at Eastbourne after having beaten Samantha Stosur 6-3, 6-1 in her semi-final earlier in the day. In the Netherlands, Roberta Vinci defeated Jelena Dokic 6-7, 6-3, 7-5 in the Unicef Open final.

UN Panel of Experts found regime secretly sold a fifth of the country's gold reserves.
The panel’s 2017 report followed a trail to West Africa where large sums of cash and gold were hidden by Abdullah Al Senussi, Qaddafi’s former intelligence chief, in 2011.
Cases filled with cash that was said to amount to $560m in 100 dollar notes, that was kept by a group of Libyans in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
A second stash was said to have been held in Accra, Ghana, inside boxes at the local offices of an international human rights organisation based in France.

To mark Bodytree’s 10th anniversary, the coming season will be filled with celebratory activities:
- September 21 Anyone interested in becoming a certified yoga instructor can sign up for a 250-hour course in Yoga Teacher Training with Jacquelene Sadek. It begins on September 21 and will take place over the course of six weekends.
- October 18 to 21 International yoga instructor, Yogi Nora, will be visiting Bodytree and offering classes.
- October 26 to November 4 International pilates instructor Courtney Miller will be on hand at the studio, offering classes.
- November 9 Bodytree is hosting a party to celebrate turning 10, and everyone is invited. Expect a day full of free classes on the grounds of the studio.
- December 11 Yogeswari, an advanced certified Jivamukti teacher, will be visiting the studio.
- February 2, 2018 Bodytree will host its 4th annual yoga market.
