Sri Lanka bowled out for 170 against India



DAMBULLA, SRI LANKA // Spinner Pragyan Ojha took three wickets to help India bowl out Sri Lanka for 170 in 46 overs of today's third tri-series one-day international. Seamer Praveen Kumar clean bowled Upul Tharanga first ball of the innings for a diamond duck after the hosts opted to bat at Rangiri Dambulla Stadium and India took wickets consistently to build on the early success. The captain Kumar Sangakkara was out for 2 when he skied a shot off seamer Ashish Nehra to Ojha and Kumar returned to trap Mahela Jayawardene leg before wicket for four.

Ishant Sharma had Thilan Samaraweera caught by Ravindra Jadeja for seven to leave Sri Lanka 44 for four. Tillakaratne Dilshan was the only top-order batsman to look comfortable and scored 45 runs including five boundaries. He was out to an ambitious shot caught by Rohit Sharma off Ojha. Suraj Randiv added a valuable 43 at the tail and was last man out. He shared the best partnership of the innings, 39, with Nuwan Kulasekara who made 22.

Ojha was the best bowler with three for 36, while Ishant Sharma and Jadeja also took two wickets each. India left out seamer Abhimanyu Mithun and batsman Yuvraj Singh because of illness and replaced them with Ishant Sharma and Virat Kohli.
