Shikhar Dhawan continued his form revival with a smart century in India’s rousing win against South Africa last time out.
It was predictable he might return to form in Melbourne, given he lives there when he is not touring with India or playing in the Indian Premier League.
“Australia is a very beautiful country. I’ve got a home here now and my family lives here, so I enjoy coming over here,” Dhawan said.

“This is the first time I’ve stayed in Australia for such a long time and it is a great feeling to have so many fans over here. It was amazing to see so many Indians in the MCG. It was a great feeling.
“I really enjoyed playing in front of 86,000 people.
“It gives a very good feeling that our fans followed us here, I feel because of them we get that extra edge.”
It is unlikely the Indians will have lost too much sleep last night over the prospect of playing the UAE.
Ahead of Friday’s afternoon net session, Dhawan acknowledged he had not watched any footage of the national team, but suggested he might before the match.
“We play the game the way it has to be played, we’re going to play with the same fighting spirit and going to keep the same intensity,” he said.
India’s preparations for the game have not been entirely trouble-free. Duncan Fletcher, the coach, will miss the game at the Waca Ground as he has flown home because of the death of his father-in-law, while Mohammed Shami, the seam bowler, is being rested after receiving a painkilling injection in his left knee.

Ziina users can donate to relief efforts in Beirut
Ziina users will be able to use the app to help relief efforts in Beirut, which has been left reeling after an August blast caused an estimated $15 billion in damage and left thousands homeless. Ziina has partnered with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to raise money for the Lebanese capital, co-founder Faisal Toukan says. “As of October 1, the UNHCR has the first certified badge on Ziina and is automatically part of user's top friends' list during this campaign. Users can now donate any amount to the Beirut relief with two clicks. The money raised will go towards rebuilding houses for the families that were impacted by the explosion.”

What is graphene?
Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged like honeycomb.
It was discovered in 2004, when Russian-born Manchester scientists Andrei Geim and Kostya Novoselov were "playing about" with sticky tape and graphite - the material used as "lead" in pencils.
Placing the tape on the graphite and peeling it, they managed to rip off thin flakes of carbon. In the beginning they got flakes consisting of many layers of graphene. But as they repeated the process many times, the flakes got thinner.
By separating the graphite fragments repeatedly, they managed to create flakes that were just one atom thick. Their experiment had led to graphene being isolated for the very first time.
At the time, many believed it was impossible for such thin crystalline materials to be stable. But examined under a microscope, the material remained stable, and when tested was found to have incredible properties.
It is many times times stronger than steel, yet incredibly lightweight and flexible. It is electrically and thermally conductive but also transparent. The world's first 2D material, it is one million times thinner than the diameter of a single human hair.
But the 'sticky tape' method would not work on an industrial scale. Since then, scientists have been working on manufacturing graphene, to make use of its incredible properties.
In 2010, Geim and Novoselov were awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics. Their discovery meant physicists could study a new class of two-dimensional materials with unique properties.
