Al Jazira will next month host a Ramadan football tournament against three teams from the GCC with some matches beginning at midnight.
Al Ahli from Saudi Arabia, Qatar's Al Rayyan and Al Kuwait of Kuwait will also take part in the tournament, which will be held from August 20-26, at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium.
Al Jazira will take on Al Kuwait on the first day at 10pm and that match will be followed by Al Ahli-Al Rayann at midnight.
On Tuesday, August 23, the first game of the evening will be between Al Jazira and Al Rayann, with a 10pm kick-off, and the second is Kuwait- Al Ahli with a 12.00am start.
The final day of the tournament goes ahead on Friday, August 26 with Al Rayann-Kuwait followed by Al Jazira-Al Ahli, with 10pm and midnight kick-offs respectively.
The tournament will take on a round robin format with the top placed side winning Dh400,000, and second place winning Dh200,000.

The more serious side of specialty coffee
While the taste of beans and freshness of roast is paramount to the specialty coffee scene, so is sustainability and workers’ rights.
The bulk of genuine specialty coffee companies aim to improve on these elements in every stage of production via direct relationships with farmers.
