Qassimi is back in action as WRC heads to Cyprus

Sheikh Khalid al Qassimi returns to Cyprus this weekend as part of the BP Ford Abu Dhabi team looking to prevent Sebastien Loeb from making history. Loeb, a driver with the Citroen team, will become the first person to win 50 FIA World Rally Championship rounds if he finishes first at Limassol. Ford will be expected to provide the French driver with the toughest challenge, with the Finnish pair of Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala spending six days practising on similar surfaces in France last month. "I found a good set up for the gravel stages during the test," said Hirvonen, who trails Loeb by six points in the drivers standings "The stages are so twisty, this rally is unique in the championship." *With Agencies
