The Indian Premier League reached its finale this week as the Mumbai Indians continued their dominance of the world's richest cricket tournament.
Bowler Trent Boult took 3-30 with the ball, while captain Rohit Sharma scored 68 to guide Mumbai to a five-wicket win over Delhi Capitals in Dubai and their fifth IPL title.
This tournament was held in the UAE without fans present at matches and delayed from the spring due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In football, Harry Kane continued adding to his new milestones as the Tottenham Hotspur attacker reached 150 Premier League goals, just days after notching his 200th strike for the North London club. The England captain headed a late winner to earn Spurs a 1-0 win at West Bromwich Albion.
Over in Germany, Bayern Munich went back to the top of the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory at Borussia Dortmund in de klassiker.
Bayern earned their fourth straight win over Dortmund as Robert Lewandowski scored his 11th goal in just six league games.
