This week might have seen the last fight of one of the all-time great boxers when Manny Pacquiao lost to Yordenis Ugas in Las Vegas.
Taking part in his first bout in two years, the Filipino was beaten by his Cuban opponent in a unanimous decision in their WBA welterweight title fight.
Ugas, 35, frustrated his 42-year-old opponent to take the honours on all three cards — 115-113, 116-112 and 116-112 — in front of a 17,438 supporters at the T-Mobile Arena.
“I'm sorry that we lost tonight, but you know, I did my best, but my best wasn’t good enough,” Pacquiao said after the fight.”
In the world of football, it was another busy week in the Premier League. On Saturday, reigning champions Manchester City crushed Norwich 5-0 when £100 million ($138.5m) man Jack Grealish opened the scoring at the Etihad Stadium.

Safety 'top priority' for rival hyperloop company
The chief operating officer of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Andres de Leon, said his company's hyperloop technology is “ready” and safe.
He said the company prioritised safety throughout its development and, last year, Munich Re, one of the world's largest reinsurance companies, announced it was ready to insure their technology.
“Our levitation, propulsion, and vacuum technology have all been developed [...] over several decades and have been deployed and tested at full scale,” he said in a statement to The National.
“Only once the system has been certified and approved will it move people,” he said.
HyperloopTT has begun designing and engineering processes for its Abu Dhabi projects and hopes to break ground soon.
With no delivery date yet announced, Mr de Leon said timelines had to be considered carefully, as government approval, permits, and regulations could create necessary delays.
