The chief executive of Cricket South Africa (CSA) has denied saying that the quota system in team selection will be phased out. Gerald Majola was quoted in Australian newspaper The Age as saying the CSA wanted a "merit-based selection" policy by 2011. "There has been speculation recently that CSA plans to remove its targeted transformation programme, this is not the case at this stage of the transformation proces," he said.
